Welcome to a new season ! If you’re new to this newsletter, our goal is to highlight some achievements from players in our circle, and share some interesting & useful information pertaining to money management skills, physical / mental health, investing and hockey specific hacks. Good luck to those chasing roster spots and everyone putting their hard work and sacrifice on display on a fresh sheet.

We’re going to keep it short and sweet this time around – we wanted to wish you all luck with upcoming camps & pre-season match-ups. As retired players, our skin always begins to crawl with excitement in the fall; the feeling of new opportunities, teammates & a journey with endless possibilities !

As summer hits its stride, many of you are making the most of this window — training hard, enjoying family time, and recharging at the lake before the pace picks up again. This is the stretch where routines matter, both on and off the ice; the perfect moment to lay the groundwork for a successful season ahead.

With the NHL Draft now in the rearview, many are taking part in Development camps across the league aiming to showcase their skillset to GM’s, coaching staff & hopeful future teammates. We want to congratulate everyone selected in the Draft, and urge those who weren’t to continue with a fire in your belly to prove yourself.

The hockey gods have eliminated most, leaving the spotlight on a few remaining teams and players and rewarding everyone else with a bit of sunshine, rest and a jump on summer training. With NHL development camp around the corner, we hope you stay hungry, stay healthy – and if the markets have taught us anything over the past two months… stay invested !

Whether your competing in the playoffs, or dusting off the BBQ and watching on TV; I think we can all agree that this is undoubtedly the best time of the year to be a hockey fan.

Welcome back to the March edition of Highlights & Insights. First off, congratulations to everyone who received a team award!

As we charge into the final stretch of the hockey season, now is when your hard work pays off, and the sacrifices made throughout the season truly start to show.

With January wrapped up, we enter the heart of the season, where we separate the men and women from the boys and girls (as they say).

Happy Holidays! As we close the chapter on another year, tip of the cap to you and all the hard work you’ve dedicated to yourself, your family, and your teammates. This time of year is significant for two key reasons: reflecting on your triumphs and setbacks—sorting through what went well and what could have been done differently—and dreaming BIG. 2025 is brimming with opportunities for those ready to put in the effort. The possibilities are endless, and it’s hard not to feel energized and excited for what’s ahead!
